Play is an ongoing multi-media project that evolved out of the experience of Feel. Entering back into the art world brought as much fear as it did joy, perhaps more. I quickly realized I needed to teach myself how to play again.

My first attempts were in the ceramics studio, making tiny bowls with tiny feet and experimenting with glazes. This led me to open a beautiful leather-bound book and play with watercolors again. I rediscovered the fun of art-making, mark-making, and messing up. If this project ever comes to “completion,” it will be because a more expansive version of play has entered my life.
